Sony said they were dropping the price of 80 GIG to $399 USD in September. Does anybody know when its coming out in Canada and what the price will be? I know that Future Shop is currently selling a PS3 80 Gig for $499 CDN and comes with Metal Gear Solid 4. Will i really be saving any money by going for that $399 USD PS3 80 Gig since in Canada they always raise the price by like $30…?

So for a long time I’ve always had an intrest in photography. I have an old 35mm Pentax, a vintage Diana that shoots 120, and I recently bought a DSLR. If you aren’t laughing at me by now then I’ll point out the fact that photography for me is just a hobby, and I like to dabble in every medium. I love my Nikon but I also really love the effects of Lomo.
I’m about to start college and I work, and although my family might murder me if I buy another camera I’m really really intrested in what type of TLR camera I should get. The ones I’ve seen are the Seagull, also the Lubitel 166+ (which shoots both 35 and medium format) and the Blackbird which shoots 120.
Considering that i’m kind of broke, which would you reccommend? any of the three i mentioned or something else? I just want a nice camera to do some fun shots with, that also give me the most for my money. If you know of a better camera or deal, I’m totally open to reccomendations.
to see the Seagul and Lubitel go here and do a search : http://shop.lomography.com/shop/
this is the blackbird: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=10&startValue=1&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=15988413&parentid=A_MEDIA_CAMERAS&sortProperties=+subCategoryPosition,+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=12&navAction=poppushpush&color=&pushId=A_MEDIA_CAMERAS&popId=APARTMENT_MEDIA&prepushId=

My brother is shopping around for a wireless adapter for his Xbox when we came across this one. I have a wacky Linksys router (see http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AikzQHKepPOkn4e4DjTA87zsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080710094517AAvgOQU) so I may be getting a new router unless I can find a way to fix the current one. I have two questions to ask…
Does anyone have any experience with this adapter, and would like to comment, ie is it worth it/easy to set-up/etc?
Will it have issues if I have to switch routers in the next few months?

Ok, I need some help with my shopping. Basically i have $80 in store credit for Game Stop and I want to buy a modern gaming console. I do not have; Wii, Xbox360, or PS3.
Because of the store credit I’m mostly committed to buying the system from Game Stop. I already have a psp and tons of content, so i decided on the PS3.
Now we get to my (3) question(s).
1. Why does the PlayStation 3 40GB (GameStop Refurbished) cost the same amount of money as the PlayStation 3 40GB? Here are two links to show you the context of my question —> http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=68183 and http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=68044
2. Why does the PlayStation 3 20GB (Gamestop Refurbished) cost more than the PlayStation 3 40GB (GameStop Refurbished)? again, two links to show the context of the question –> http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=64005 and http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=68183
3. What does the number of USB ports on a PS3 mean? As i was comparing two products, i noticed that one of them was labeled 2 USB and the other was labeled 4USB. (links –> http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72446 and http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=69352) What does it mean to have 2 USB rather than 4?
I want to stress that I’m not trying to advertise for game stop, but rather seek advice in a purchase i am most definitely going to make.
Hi, I’m looking for a basic camcorder ( I would prefer HD) that is AFFORDABLE (no more than $850 Canada)
to shoot recreational videos with (we make home made music videos to famous songs)
I don’t know where to start. I found one for about 600 bucks, but i was told it did not have very good Image Stabliization. Do I really need that if it is on a tripod and panning alot?
This is the one I was looking at.

I also would not like to shop online. I need to be able to walk-in and purchase. I live in Red Deer, Alberta, and some large stores near me are Future Shop, Best Buy, Wal-mart, you name it.
Also, it would be great if it could film with very low light, we do a lot of darker scenes and editing it brighter usually ruins the picture.
Please help me out! I guarantee 10 points to the best answer!
Thank you
