Fallout 3 expansion pack for xbox 360 do i need live to play it?

ok so at future shop i saw this expansionpack for xbox 360 for fallout 3 it was lika a normal game ina case and it was 24.99 here the link to it

its the first one but it will have 3 gb ram and the included graphics card and the core 2 duo processor.

Can I backup my 350dvd movies to usb hard drive then play back on usb enabled theatre system?

Ok my 350+ dvd movies are taking up WAY to much room, I want to back them up on an USB External hard drive, then using the usb cable plug it into my home theatre system to playback the movies. Do you guys think this is possible ?
